The Genbukan Daigo Dojo holds classes for students 14 years of age and older

 

Students enrolled in Calgary Dojo can train indoors on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. This is for adults only at this time but accommodation can be made to include children into training times as long as their parent is a student in the school.

The Victoria Dojo runs both private classes and outdoor group classes being held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm until 7:30 pm. This is for adults only at this time but accommodation can be made to include children into training times as long as their parent is a student in the school

Choosing the way you want to learn at the school comes down to personality type, schedule, and commitment level.

  • Private one on one classes are the most beneficial, as you get the experience of the head instructor guiding you throughout an entire training session and often training with you one on one. This is recommended for students with difficult schedules or that do not like group classes. There is a premium on the cost but a huge benefit also.

 

What is Ninpo Taijutsu and Jujutsu? The Arts of the Ninja and Samurai. Effective, battlefield, true self defence and physical training for yourself, your loved ones, or your country.

What it is not: It is NOT empty katas, social clubs, tournaments, and buying belts (ranks).

Class time is also spent on traditional Japanese weaponry such as sword and staff, strengthening the body, increasing flexibility, balance, leadership and confidence, fitness, meditation, and Chugoku Kempo.

Classes run year round and students can begin at any time throughout the year.

There are no Drop - ins.

 

A Free Trial Class is offered to potential new students at the school. Please use the contact form located on this website to indicate your interest in training at the school. You cannot be accepted into the school unless you attend the trial class so we can meet you and make sure the fit is right. If you know someone at the school and they personally vouch for you, you can begin immediately.
